Company Overview


Our client is an established fire protection services company expanding into Southern California and is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to launch and lead a new operation. This is a unique opportunity to build a branch from the ground up while being backed by an established organization with a strong reputation for quality and service.


This role is ideal for a proven leader who enjoys building teams, developing business, creating operational systems, and taking ownership of results.

What You'll Do


Branch Leadership & Operations



  • Launch and manage a new branch operation from the ground up.

  • Establish operational processes, workflows, and administrative systems.

  • Coordinate licensing, vendor relationships, and branch infrastructure.

  • Manage branch financial performance, including revenue, expenses, profitability, and reporting.

  • Partner with executive leadership to achieve branch objectives and company goals.


Team Development



  • Recruit, hire, train, and lead a growing team of field technicians and support staff.

  • Establish clear performance expectations and accountability.

  • Build a culture focused on quality, professionalism, and customer service.

  • Develop employees while creating opportunities for advancement.


Business Development



  • Build the customer base through networking, relationship building, referrals, and direct outreach.

  • Develop relationships with commercial property managers, contractors, facility managers, and business owners.

  • Prepare proposals, negotiate service agreements, and close new business opportunities.

  • Grow recurring inspection, testing, maintenance, and service contracts.

  • Represent the company professionally throughout the local business community.


Service Operations



  • Oversee scheduling, dispatch, and workload planning.

  • Ensure inspection, testing, and service work is completed in accordance with applicable fire protection codes and industry standards.

  • Monitor customer documentation, inspection reports, and deficiency tracking.

  • Maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction while driving operational efficiency.


Must Meet



  • Previous experience leading a branch, division, territory, or business unit.

  • Proven success building a business, territory, operation, or team from the ground up.

  • Experience recruiting, developing, and leading high-performing employees.

  • Strong business development and relationship-building skills.

  • Experience managing budgets, financial performance, and operational metrics.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day supervision.

  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout the local market.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience within fire protection, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, construction, facilities management, or another skilled trade service industry.

  • Familiarity with recurring service contract business models.

  • Understanding of inspection, testing, maintenance, or regulatory compliance within service industries.

  • Existing relationships within the commercial property, facilities management, or construction community are a plus.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required.
