Fire Sprinkler Designer & Project Manager - Commercial & Industrial

We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Designer / Project Manager to oversee fire protection projects in Reno, NV, from initial design through installation. This full-time role combines system design, project coordination, and field support to ensure safe, code-compliant fire sprinkler installations delivered on schedule.

As a Fire Sprinkler Designer / Project Manager, you will create detailed designs, prepare hydraulic calculations, and manage project timelines while coordinating with field crews, inspectors, and contractors. This position is ideal for someone with strong fire protection expertise, experience managing multiple projects, and a professional, client-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Design fire sprinkler systems for commercial and industrial projects in Reno, NV, following NFPA and local code requirements
• Manage fire protection projects from design kickoff through project closeout
• Prepare shop drawings, hydraulic calculations, and all project submittals
• Coordinate with field crews, inspectors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Track schedules, design revisions, and project documentation to maintain accuracy and compliance
• Communicate regularly with clients and project stakeholders regarding progress, design updates, and compliance

• Proven experience designing and managing fire sprinkler systems
• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and local fire protection codes
• Proficiency with fire sprinkler design software (e.g., AutoSPRINK, Revit, or similar)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
• Clear, professional communication and client-facing skills

• Annual salary: $85,000 – $110,000, depending on experience
