This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000–$95,000 and centers on producing accurate, code-compliant estimates for commercial and industrial fire protection projects while ensuring smooth project execution. The role provides hands-on involvement in pricing, planning, and supporting bids for fire protection systems in the Islip area.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive estimates and takeoffs for commercial and industrial fire sprinkler projects in Islip, NY.
• Analyze construction drawings, specifications, and fire protection scopes for completeness and accuracy.
• Calculate costs for materials, labor, and subcontracted services to create competitive, profitable bids.
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams throughout the bidding process.
• Assist with bid revisions, reviews, and facilitate efficient project handoff after award.
• Maintain organized documentation of estimates, proposals, and pricing records.
• Work closely with project managers and engineers to clarify project scope and requirements.

• Proven experience in estimating fire sprinkler or fire protection systems.
• Strong understanding of NFPA standards and fire protection project scopes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications accurately.
