FIRE WATCH / SAFETY SPOTTER

Location: Lancaster / Wilmer, TX

Pay: $20.00–$23.00/hour (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: 40–50 Hours per Week
Local Candidates Only – No Per Diem

Texas Trades is seeking experienced Fire Watch / Safety Spotters for a commercial construction project in the Lancaster/Wilmer area.

Requirements

• 
  

  Prior Fire Watch or Construction Safety Spotter experience is REQUIRED

  
  


• 
  

  OSHA 10 Required

  
  


• 
  

  English-speaking or Bilingual (English/Spanish)

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work safely in an active commercial construction environment

  
  


• 
  

  Dependable with excellent attendance and communication skills

  
  


• 
  

  Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods

  
  


• 
  

  Local candidates only

  
  

Job Duties

• 
  

  Monitor hot work operations and maintain a safe work environment

  
  


• 
  

  Watch for potential fire hazards and respond in accordance with site safety procedures

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain constant communication with crews and supervisors

  
  


• 
  

  Enforce jobsite safety protocols and OSHA standards

  
  


• 
  

  Complete required safety documentation and reports as needed
