Overview:

As a First Notice of Loss (FNOL) Representative, you will be the first point of contact for policyholders reporting a loss or damage. You play a vital role in initiating the insurance claims process by collecting key information, ensuring accurate documentation, and delivering empathetic support to our customers during what is often a stressful time. Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities will help ensure a smooth transition from claim intake to investigation.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and accurately document initial reports of loss or damage from policyholders

Collect critical incident details, including date, time, cause, and a description of the loss

Provide clear, compassionate guidance to policyholders on the claims process

Initiate claims by entering data into internal systems and assigning to appropriate adjusters

Assess urgency and escalate high-priority or complex cases as needed

Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather additional information

Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of all interactions and claim-related activities

Qualifications:

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused approach

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks

High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation

Basic understanding of insurance policies and claims procedures (training provided)

Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure or during emotionally charged conversations

Proficiency with computer systems, including claims management software and MS Office

Quick learner who can adapt to new tools, processes, and regulatory changes

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
