This position will report to the Manager of Financial Operations for the Law School and is the primary liaison with the University’s offices of travel and procurement. This position is responsible for preparing travel authorizations and expense reports for students, staff, faculty, and guests, and ensuring University procurement and travel policies are followed. This is a customer-facing role that serves as a primary point of contact for faculty, staff, and students, requiring strong communication and service skills.Job Description:
Required Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Basic bookkeeping experience.
Attention to detail.
Experience with Microsoft Excel.
Customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
Accounting experience or ongoing educational coursework in business or accounting field.
Work experience in accounting and financial reporting environment.
Experience with Workday and/or Jaggaer.
Conditions of Employment:
This is a non-exempt position, eligible to receive overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position may be subject to overtime during high peak times, etc. as directed and approved by the supervisor.
Duties:
50% - Travel and Expense Administration
30% - Procurement and Purchasing Support
15%: Financial Transactions and Administrative Support
5% - General Operational Support
Salary Range: $45,000 to $47,500 commensurate with experience
