FITMENT OPERATOR (1st Shift)

Summary:

 In this role, you’ll use press brakes to bend, form, and shape metal parts that become critical components in our assemblies. You’ll play an important part in producing high-quality parts while keeping safety and accuracy top of mind.   

What You’ll Do:

• Modify and fit metal components using mechanical force and press brake equipment. 
• Follow process documentation, drawings, and templates to ensure parts meet specifications. 
• Inspect parts and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards. 
• Keep your work area safe, clean, and organized while following all PPE and OSHA guidelines. 
• Use a computer to clock in/out of jobs and record production data. 
• Contribute to continuous improvement and Lean initiatives to help eliminate waste.

We’re looking for Fitment Operators (Metal Forming Operator) to join our team on First Shift (Monday through Thursday, 5:00AM to 3:30PM).

 Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to understand and follow directions accurately. 
• Strong math skills for part counts and equipment adjustments 
• Physical strength and stamina to perform daily tasks.
• A team player who collaborates well with others.
• Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee)  

Preferred Skills:

• Previous manufacturing experience
• Basic computer skills
