Fitness Community Life Specialist

Rydal Park, a premier Life Plan Community located in Jenkintown, is hiring a Fitness Community Life Specialist Full-time to energize our senior living community!

We are looking for an accredited fitness instructor to join our organization and Inspire Wellness by:

• Designing and leading fun, safe, and inclusive fitness and wellness programs (group classes, special events, one-on-one sessions as appropriate)


• Adapting activities to meet the diverse abilities and interests of active older adults


• Promoting healthy lifestyles in a way that feels encouraging, empowering, and joyful


• Incorporating our “Philosophy for person-directed Care” by developing an awareness of residents’ interests and needs and assist residents to maximize their independence and participation 

To be successful as a fitness community life specialist you should:

• Have a genuine love for working with older adults and building community


• A background in fitness, wellness, recreation, or a related field with certifications from accredited platforms


• Have experience with working with the older adult and/or specialization in medical, clinical, nutritional, and other wellness training


• Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities


• A high achiever with a vision to develop and implement innovative programming that enrich the lives of our residents


• Positive energy, warm communication style, and a proactive mindset that delivers unparalleled service to our residents


• CPR/AED certification

Monday - Friday, with occasional nights/weekends; Rate: $28 - $30 per hour depending on experience
