We have an immediate need for a Fitness Coordinator

Primary Responsibilities of the Fitness Coordinator:

• Develop and lead activities that would promote health and wellness within the community.    
• Encourage residents to participate in fitness activities and be a resource to other programs.
• Maintain and oversee consistent "Open Gym" hours for the residents
• Train residents on the use of the fitness equipment
• Carries out post-therapy exercise programs as directed by the therapy or wellness team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in exercise science, exercise physiology, or kinesiology.
• Experience working with seniors preferred.
• Experience in program development preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certified.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
