Job Description - Fitness Equipment Maintenance Associate

Description

We are looking for a dependable and motivated Fitness Equipment Maintenance Associate to help support the upkeep of gym equipment across the New England region. This is an entry-level role ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined and interested in learning equipment maintenance through hands-on experience and in-house training.

The Maintenance Associate will assist with routine maintenance, complete assigned work orders, and support basic repairs and part replacements, with access to technical support as needed.

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Assist with routine maintenance and inspections on fitness equipment
Complete assigned work orders, including basic repairs and approved part replacements
Identify equipment issues and report findings to the support team
Document completed work orders and service details
Maintain a professional and courteous presence at customer locations
Follow safety guidelines, maintenance procedures, and training standards
Travel to service locations within the New England area, including overnight stays as needed

Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Comfort using basic hand tools (training provided)
Ability to follow instructions and procedures
Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
Strong communication and customer-service skills
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel
Prior maintenance or mechanical experience is helpful but not required
