About the Role
Are you a results-driven leader with a passion for fitness and people? Do you understand the power of performance-based training and business development to drive growth and retention? We're looking for a dynamic Director of Training to lead and elevate our studio’s performance, spearhead client success, and help shape a thriving fitness community.
In this high-impact role, you’ll be the heartbeat of our training floor—building lasting member relationships, mentoring coaches, and executing strategies that increase conversion, satisfaction, retention, and profitability. Your leadership will directly influence the health of the business and the transformation of every client who walks through our doors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire, and manage a team of personal trainers and group fitness instructors.
- Drive membership growth through community engagement and strong client relationships.
- Conduct fitness consultations and assessments to develop customized training and nutrition plans.
- Deliver high-energy personal training sessions and lead group workouts with excellence.
- Ensure safety and effectiveness in all training by monitoring form, technique, and progress.
- Provide ongoing coaching, support, and accountability to members.
- Monitor client progress and adjust programs as needed to optimize results.
- Collaborate with studio management to align training strategies with business goals.
- Leverage your sales acumen to support business development initiatives and contribute to studio profitability.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or studio leadership—fitness industry experience strongly preferred.
- A natural connector with excellent interpersonal skills; someone who can motivate, inspire, and retain clients and staff alike.
- Personal training or group instruction experience with a demonstrated ability to deliver results.
- Strong coaching presence and the ability to lead by example on the training floor.
- A background in creating effective training and nutrition plans tailored to individual needs.
- Entrepreneurial mindset or experience running a business is a plus.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
