Job Description:
Fulton County Health Center is looking for a motivated and dynamic Fitness Instructor to join our Corporate Community Health Promotion team. In this role, you will lead various fitness classes, helping participants achieve their health and wellness goals. Your responsibilities will include conducting engaging and effective classes, ensuring safety and proper technique, and continually expanding your knowledge of fitness-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and instruct various types of fitness classes offered through Fulton County Health Center.
• Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and ensure the safety of all participants.
• Adapt classes to meet the diverse needs of participants and provide modifications as needed.
• Stay updated on fitness trends and continuously expand knowledge regarding fitness issues.
• Maintain CPR certification and adhere to emergency procedures.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Understanding of emergency procedures and ability to respond appropriately.
• Willingness to expand knowledge and stay current with fitness trends.
• Must maintain current CPR certification.
• Certification from AFAA, ACE, ASM, or NETA is strongly encouraged.
