BFT is science backed personal training in a group atmosphere. Our cutting-edge, globally superior technology combined with our elite periodized programming that incorporates heart rate specific training make us both different and better.
With over 300 locations globally and over 10 locations in Southern California alone, we’re a brand on the move. The Franchisee group owns multi territory development rights and is set to add BFT locations in Beverly Hills and other neighboring West Los Angeles territories.
The Franchise group is looking for a Fitness Manager/Head Coach for its upcoming studio in West Hollywood which is in presale opening next month.
Position Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for the right person who is keen on getting in from the start and helping us build this studio and others from the ground up.
The fitness manager will oversee all studio coaches, own all aspects of the member training experience and work closely with the franchise owner and studio manager to deliver the studio’s member growth and profitability aspirations.
Since the West Hollywood studio is in presale, there is also an opportunity to sell founding memberships and aid the grassroots outreach efforts such as lead capture and conversion during regular community events. They will be paid commission on membership sales.
Given it is a multi-territory franchise, the position has the ability to grow in responsibility and compensation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for all aspects of member training experience • Overseas all studio coaches including scheduling and availability • Deliver pre-designed sessions/workouts to groups of up to 36 clients • Energize and motivate clients throughout class • Build BFT class attendance and retain current clientele • Teach proper technique to ensure clients have a safe and positive experience • Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training and developing coaches • Have strong understanding of the different BFT sessions, as well as distinguishing features between each • Handle member concerns when applicable • Assist sales associates and General Manager with studio tour and sales • Responsible for member retention • Set up equipment and explain session intention and flow for prospects and new clients • Maintain strong social media presence to increase class following
Qualifications:
• 4-year degree (in a related field) and/or a nationally recognized PT certification (e.g., NSCA, ACE, NASM). • Coaching experience in group fitness environment and/or personal training role. • Experience selling boutique fitness memberships, presale experience is a plus. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Love of boutique fitness is a must – passion for strength training is a plus • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment • Ability to create a high energy, positive environment that welcomes all people • Fantastic communication that exudes energy AND empathy • Must love connecting with people and have passion for helping them achieve goals • Passion for having fun daily and making every customer excited to train with BFT • Must exude charisma & thrive in a group environment • Must possess and maintain current CPR/AED certification • Exhibit and satisfy all requirements that exist for a BFT coach.
Compensation and benefits:
• Salary - $60,000 to $70,000 plus class bonuses • Performance based bonuses and incentives. • Commissions based on sales • Full time position • Professional development opportunities as franchise group owns development rights for multiple territories. • Complimentary studio membership • Paid training • 401K
