Flagger - Traffic Control

We are looking for Flaggers in Seattle, WA to join our Traffic Control team.

For this role, we need individuals to safely direct traffic as well as handle any problems that may arise during a workday.

Responsibilities:

• Flag motorists to warn them of obstacles or repair work ahead;
• Take ownership of the work zone and pass vehicles safely;
• Work with the team to establish safe movement of traffic around the work zone, in accordance with safety regulations and/or Department of Transportation regulations;
• Place signs, barricades, traffic cones, and other warning devices- duties will vary according to job assignment;
• Respond to emergencies as directed and perform tasks in the interest of public safety and property protection during emergencies.

• Perform any and all tasks assigned by your Direct Superior.

• A valid, unrestricted Driver's License;
• Ability to quickly respond appropriately to unexpected events;
• Ability to work without supervision;
• Ability to comfortable standing 8-12 hours a day in all weather conditions.
