Overview

Group 1 Toyota Southwest Houston is rapidly growing and seeking production-driven Flat-Rate (Flag) Technicians to join the team! If you have at least six months of flagged production experience, hold ASE and/or manufacturer certifications, and are motivated by efficiency, quality workmanship, and strong earning potential, this is an excellent opportunity to join a high-volume shop and accelerate your career.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards
Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication.
Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months of flat-rate (flagged) production experience in a dealership or independent shop environment is required
ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification(s) or Toyota manufacturer-specific certifications (e.g., Toyota) are required
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record
Excellent customer service skills
Professional appearance and work ethic
Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening
