Salary: $50,000-$60,000
Fleet Administrator
To support the Fleet Manager in day to day running of the fleet and assets, undertaking various administrative tasks led by management instruction and ensuring work is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- Understands OSHA, DOT, fleet-specific regulations, licensing, registration, and reporting requirements.
- One to two years of administrative fleet experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Skills
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with consistent follow through.
- Must have knowledge of commonly used administrative and office concepts, practices and procedures.
- Demonstrate proficiency with MS Office Suite and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Ability to work well with all levels of staff as well as external customers.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Independent, dependable worker with little to no supervision required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required as well as interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the fleet manager.
- Ensure fleet compliance by managing emissions schedules, tag renewals, and insurance.
- Enter and dispose of new assets.
- Managing and monitoring EZ pass accounts for MD.
- Prepares and maintains accurate records of vehicles, insurance, and required regulatory filings and reporting.
- Issuing Purchase Orders for parts and services required for fleet maintenance and upkeep.
- Review and process vehicle accident claims, property damage claims, and stolen item claims with assistance from management and insurance company representatives.
