  • Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Lead and mentor cross-functional teams of engineers, scientists, and IT specialists to successfully integrate emerging JFN technologies at U.S. Navy’s Maritime Operations Centers (MOCs).

  • Joint Fires Integration: Leverage a strong understanding of the Joint Fires Network and its operational relevancy across COCOMs to ensure seamless integration of information warfare capabilities into the overall Joint warfighting architecture.

  • Model Based Systems Engineering Support: Coordinate with existing MBSE teams to enable the Model Based Systems Engineering team to create holistic naval models that will inform future JFN network architecture design with Naval and Joint Forces.

  • Operational Planning and Exercise Support: Contribute to future planning efforts for Operational Plans and Joint exercises, collaborating with Joint, National, and international coalition stakeholders to ensure operational staff are trained and ready to lead maritime forces in combat.

  • Strategic Communication: Regularly brief Flag Officers and SESs on the status of JFN integration efforts, LVC event outcomes, and the operational impact of information warfare capabilities.

  • Innovation and Capability Advancement: Continuously seek out opportunities to advance the Navy's warfighting capabilities through innovative JFN applications, the integration of technology, and the refinement of maritime operational plans.

  • Cross-functional Coordination: Enhance cross-functional coordination across multiple organizations, including NAVWAR program offices, Fleet elements, and Joint Forces, to enable the adaptation of new warfighting capabilities and Fight from the MOC initiatives.
