Job Description - Fleet Maintenance Foreman

BEST Logistics Group are thrilled to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Shop Foreman with BEST Specialized in South Point, OH. If you have a passion for Class 8 Trucks and strong leadership/management skills, this position may be the perfect fit for you! 


The primary duties of the Shop Foreman are planning, scheduling, performing, directing, and evaluating the repair and servicing of our equipment. The foreman has significant control of the maintenance equipment and is in frequent contact with company employees that use this equipment. They will also train and develop staff, provide advice and regular input to management and staff, and maintain superior communication with fleet operations and other departments within the organization.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm

*Must be willing to work a schedule that may include rotating Saturdays*

    • Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to higher management.

    • Direct the upkeep and appearance of the shop/parking lot area.

    • Assist in recruiting, screening, training, and evaluation of shop employees.
