Requirements Valid driver’s license and clean driving record is a must Ability to pass a background check and a drug test 5+ years of automotive and diesel repair, Class 8 trucks employment experience or combination of education & experience, with verifiable certifications. CDL a plus, but not required Must have appropriate mechanic’s tool set Must be capable of working independently and work as a team in a team environment Motivated to work in a safe environment and keep workspace clean and tidy Must be able to work evenings and Saturdays Company training Responsibilities Fleet Maintenance Mechanic Major Responsibilities, but not limited to: Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs to ensure vehicles are safe for our customers Diagnose and perform accurately all phases of vehicle and equipment repair including the repair of brakes, engine tune-ups, suspensions, Light duty engine & service and repairs Order accurate parts for completing the job Highly efficient in time management Must be able to follow oral and written instruction and be communicative with supervisor with questions or problems Capable of making schedules Ensure work orders are completed accurately with detailed documentation and in a timely manner Maintain records of all maintenance work completed including parts and supplies used Complete preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections Job Type: Full-time Pay: starting at $38.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Overtime Weekends as needed Work Location: In person
