We are currently seeking to fill the FLEET MANAGER position.
-Position to be performed at Fresno Office, 93711.
-Compensation (negotiable, based on experience, etc).
-Opportunity to accumulate overtime.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Assist the Fleet Manager with various duties to support the logistics of the company fleet, company drivers, and fleet administrative tasks.
- Serves as a liaison between leadership team and Technology/Fleet vendors.
- Assist the leadership team and management team members with initial software analysis to help guide the company’s software selection and implementation.
- Tracking of Company vehicle maintenance, logs, database, and asset management.
- Coordinate with staff for Company Vehicle monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Provide data to the Fleet Manager to ensure compliance with all drivers within Company Policy and Procedures.
- Tracking of Company Driver compliance with vehicle reports, vehicle wash, and all other required data tracking per the Company Policy.
- Scheduling vehicle maintenance appointments, authorizing vehicle repairs
- Assist with data collection from the Company Vehicle Monitoring platform. Report all unusual and necessary data to the Fleet Manager for review and processing. Assist the Fleet Manager with data collection for Driver compliance.Installation/removal of vehicle monitoring devices.
- Processing and reporting of all required driver information to the Company insurance provider/broker for driver compliance per the Company Policy.
- Cost analysis and research for new vehicle purchases or selling current vehicles
- Mileage analysis for new drivers
- Fuel card usage
- Vehicle registration monitors due dates and pays accordingly, schedules smog checks, and transfers registration as indicated.
- Handling all aspects of insurance claims for all vehicles
OTHER NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
- Principles and practices of basic bookkeeping.
- Procurement process and how purchase orders are created.
- Microsoft Outlook, Google Workspace, Electronic Medical Records, ClickUp, Asset Tracking and Inventory Control.
- Logistics and data processing/management.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain effective and appropriate working relationships.
- Performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature.
- Performing basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and ratios.
- Meet schedules and deadlines of the work
- Maintain the confidentiality of information and professional boundaries.
- Basic vehicle maintenance processes.
- Scheduling Logistics.
- Make decisions affecting overall policies of the department.
