Fleet Manager

A Fleet Manager oversees a company's entire vehicle fleet, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations by managing vehicle acquisition, maintenance, driver performance, routing, and regulatory compliance, aiming to maximize uptime and profitability. Key duties include scheduling repairs, optimizing fuel usage, managing budgets, handling accident reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, and utilizing telematics for tracking and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Management: Procuring, leasing, maintaining, and disposing of vehicles; managing vehicle lifecycle and replacement cycles.


• Safety & Compliance: Implementing safety programs, monitoring driver behavior, handling incidents, and ensuring adherence to other regulations.


• Financial Management: controlling operating costs, managing fuel programs, and analyzing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).


• Driver Management: evaluating, and coaching drivers, ensuring proper licensing.


• Technology Integration: Implementing and using fleet management software, telematics
