Fleet Manager

*We are looking for a **Fleet Manager** to join our team!*
*Work for an established yet innovative and growing company managing and coordinating company assets, such as vehicles, trailers, and machinery.*
***What youll be doing:***
* Supervise team of mechanics and lube technicians, ensure team delivers high quality service, evaluates service, and conduct any necessary corrective action.
* Interview, hire, coach, counsel, discipline, train and manage mechanics and lube technicians.
* Work with Director of Operations to order vehicles, trailers or machinery as needed.
* Ensure all new and existing vehicles are outfitted with shelving or buildouts based on department needs and have correct HVAC, Plumbing or Electrical license.
* Manage schedule for auto mechanics and lube technicians to ensure appropriate work is complete and the shop is clean and organized.
* Partner with managers and coordinators to schedule vehicles for maintenance to ensure the least amount of disruption in productivity.
* Ensure all vehicles are clean inside and out, have correct gas and wash cards and proper decals, plates, and window tinting.
* Audit the yard multiple times throughout the day to ensure all vehicles and trailers are in good shape.
* Work with vendors to ensure all vehicles have the appropriate Paschal branding.
* Maintain appropriate supply of tires, oil and other parts needed for regular maintenance and repairs.
* Manage new vehicle tracking software. Assign drivers to vehicles, reassign drivers and/or trucks, when necessary, track vehicle maintenance and vehicle errors.
* Provide department managers with driving alerts for their team and follow up to ensure appropriate coaching is complete.
* Provide training on proper trailer use and strapping down a ladder, audit for compliance.
* Work with the acquisition project team to audit and brand all acquired vehicles, trailers, and machinery.
* All other duties as assigned.
**Successful Candidate Must Possess the Following Qualifications:**
* 5 years vehicle, machinery, or equipment maintenance experience
* Possession of a valid drivers license and good driving record.
* Exercise sound judgment and discretion with respect to fleet compliance, business strategies, policy development, cost control, and fiscal responsibilities.
* Process oriented, strong attention to detail, and ability to look for ways to improve process.
* Strong ability to read and understand technical instructions.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong knowledge of equipment, tools and methods commonly applied in repairing air conditioning and heating equipment.
* Knowledge of principles of safety practices concerning fleet vehicles, trailers, and equipment.
* Computer knowledge and the ability to operate various software systems.
