Fleet Mechanic

Flowly Solutions is hiring for a skilled fleet mechanic to join our transportation team.

This is a full time position with plenty of opportunities for overtime. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, you will not be required to work on the weekends. We are flexible on the exact schedule you will be working during the week.

We are seeking an experienced mechanic to maintain our vehicles and to ensure they are always operational. Prior experience working with diesel engines is preferred but it is not required. You must be able to work independently without supervision. This role will require you to oversee all preventative maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting, performing repairs and maintaining all records or completed work.

We are a relocation business specializing in moving, assembling and repair. We offer a variety of other services as well.

Responsibilities:

• Performing all maintenance and repairs on the vehicles and documenting records of what work has been done
• Troubleshooting both electrical and mechanical issues
• Ensuring all parts are readily available and working directly with vendors to order items
• Repairing and maintaining all areas of the vehicle such as brakes, fluids, transmissions, engines, suspension
• Working directly with the transportation manager and responding to service calls
• Completing safety checks to ensure vehicles meet all the requirements
• Assembling and disassembling engines to complete repairs
• Completing our certification trainings and classes
• Performing scheduled safety inspections of vehicles to locate issues or damage

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a vehicle mechanic is required to be considered for this position
• Knowledge on diesel engines is preferred but it is not required
• Experience with both electrical and mechanical repairs
• Expertise in using both hand and power tools to complete repairs and maintenance
• A valid Class C driver license
• The ability to lift 40 pounds
• Reliable transportation to work
• No formal education is required
