Fleet Mechanic 2nd shift- Xenia, OH

Position Description

As a Fleet Mechanic II you can expect to:
Operate automotive & diesel vehicles and construction and material handling equipment
Inspect diagnose and repair bucket truck and digger derrick hydraulic systems
Perform engine, electrical and drivability diagnostics/repair
Perform DOT inspections and manufacturer recommended services
Diagnose and repair aftertreatment systems
Provide clear and accurate information when entering work order data into a fleet maintenance system
Be responsible for scheduling and prioritizing work derived from driver reports



This position is contingent upon your ability to pass a preemployment criminal history check and drug screen.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:
High school diploma or its equivalent
At least 5 years of related experience
Valid driver's license with good driving record
Customer focused, strong work ethic and positive
Be a safety oriented individual
Drive/take home a service truck
CDL B license is required but can be obtained after employment begins and training and reimbursement for it will be provided
Candidates must provide truck technician hand tools
Diesel vocational/technical school certifications desired
