Position Title

School Bus Washer (Part-Time)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking School Bus Washer to help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our fleet. This position is responsible for washing, cleaning, and detailing school buses to ensure a safe, clean, and professional environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash and clean the exterior of school buses using pressure washers, cleaning solutions, and other equipment
• Sweep, mop, and sanitize bus interiors, including seats, windows, floors, and handrails
• Remove trash and lost items from buses after routes
• Refill cleaning supplies and maintain organization of washing and detailing areas
• Perform basic inspections and report any visible damage, maintenance concerns, or safety issues
• Follow all company safety procedures and cleaning standards
• Assist with additional fleet cleaning duties as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed
• Maintain punctuality and attendance according to company expectations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous cleaning, detailing, or maintenance experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
• Must be dependable and have reliable transportation

Work Environment

• Indoor and outdoor work environments
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals, water, and varying temperatures
• Standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive movement required throughout shift
