Job Description - Fleet Specialist

The Fleet Specialist provides administrative support to the Fleet Manager. The employee ensures efficiency through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. Previous professional experience in accounting is preferred.


Supervisory Responsibilities: 


This position has no supervisory responsibilities.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate fleet maintenance and service schedules

  • Track vehicle repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance

  • Support shop mechanics with parts ordering and documentation

  • Maintain fleet records and compliance documentation

  • Assist with vendor coordination and vehicle readiness

  • Organization

  • Communication

  • Time Management

  • Flexibility

  • Problem Solving Skills


Travel Requirements:


·         Ability to travel up to 10% of work time.


Required education and experience:



  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Proven admin or assistant experience


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in fleet operations, maintenance coordination

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Basic mechanical knowledge a plus

  • Comfortable using maintenance tracking systems and spreadsheets
