As Kiva's Fleet Supervisor, you will...
- Oversee a fleet of 40+ vehicles across California, ensuring operational readiness
- Schedule and coordinate regular preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs to maximize vehicle uptime
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all vehicle servicing, inspections, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure adherence to California State and DCC regulations
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce fuel consumption and repair costs
- Utilize GPS and telematics systems to monitor driver behavior, vehicle utilization, and identify misuse
- Communicate regularly with management teams in NorCal and SoCal regarding vehicle availability, downtime, and maintenance planning
- Perform and oversee minor in-house repairs when necessary
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for external maintenance and repair needs
- Travel periodically to Northern California to support fleet operations and team needs
What we're looking for...
- 3-4 years relevant Fleet Supervisor experience.
- Proven experience in fleet management or supervision, preferably in a multi-site environment.
- Strong working knowledge of transit vans, box trucks, and related vehicle systems.
- Hands-on mechanical ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance.
- Familiarity with California transportation compliance requirements, including DCC regulations.
- Proficiency in using fleet management software, GPS, and telematics systems.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to develop cost-saving strategies and maintain a high standard of safety and compliance.
- Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in logistics, transportation, or cannabis distribution (preferred but not required).
- Ability to train drivers on vehicle use, safety, and compliance.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- MUST be able to travel to Northern California 1 to 2 times a month
