JOB SUMMARY:


Responsible for operating, testing, modifying, troubleshooting, repairing and inspecting of all avionics and electrical systems on the aircraft using approved aircraft data. Must be able to interpret technical manuals and engineering data to support tasks. Complete assigned tasks within the allocated hourly budget and on schedule maintaining quality standards and performing the tasks within the guidelines of safety regulations and requirements.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):


Perform at expected standards of safety, quality, schedule and cost


Complete required training for assigned work and completion tasks

Works in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA and company safety procedures


Able to work autonomously on DGSM/DGT maintenance tasks, C/HCNs, cabin and galley entertainment systems, and HUD/EVS alignment on assigned falcon aircraft


Able to work autonomously on air data systems, galley temperature test, Satcom/Jetwave systems, and perform safety inspections, functional engine run checks, and customer tail swap completion tasks


Complete work tasks using Falcon production computer systems, eLog 150, Squawk Management, and CAMS


Properly document work time using Shop Floor Management


Responsible to train and supervise flight line avionics technicians on all assigned tasks


Performs all other duties as assigned


NON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):


Other duties as assigned


MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


High school diploma or equivalent


Basic computer skills


Minimum 4 years of experience in aircraft avionics


Must be able to troubleshoot aircraft avionics systems using aircraft wiring diagrams and manuals


Operates various digital and analog test equipment, primarily for flight line troubleshooting of complex avionics systems


Able to work on maintenance stands, lifts and ladders, and work in confined spaces in unusual positions with or without reasonable accommodation


Able to lift a minimum of 45 pounds, with or without a reasonable accommodation


Must not be allergic to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids and cleaning solvents


Must have manual dexterity


ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


Training and experience in corporate aircraft avionics systems; preferably with Falcon aircraft


FCC license with Radar endorsement


Graduate from an electronics/avionics technical school or equivalent experience


Ability to go on test flights


WORKING CONDITIONS:


Typical factory environment.  May work in areas with high noise levels, and in confined spaces. Will work with company’s approved adhesives and chemicals and exposed to aircraft environmental hazards


This position is designated as a safety-sensitive position because it includes as part of the essential job duties operating equipment and tools on a routine basis. Additionally, the duties of this position concern the service and completion of aircraft, and overall airworthiness of the aircraft. This position is one in which a lapse of attention could result in injury, illness, or death. For the safety of this employee and others, the employee must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and concentrate for long periods of time while performing safety activities.


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:


The compensation for this position typically falls between $26.00 and $33.00 per hour.  This position is eligible for overtime.  This position may be eligible for a sign on bonus, shift differential or relocation assistance.  Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
