Flight Nurse/ CareFlight Air & Mobile Services

a. Current AHA BLS, ACLS and PALS b.  The following certifications are required within the specified time frame following hire: a. 90 Days- ITLS or PHTLS b. 1 year - NRP, ATLS (audit) c. 2 years - CAMTS approved Nursing certification and Certified EMT-P in the State of Ohio Experience: Minimum 3 years of recent, active RN experience in an Emergency Department or Critical Care setting. Previous Pre-hospital or critical care transport experience preferred. Special Consideration: If the candidate has a minimum of one year of previous experience with CareFlight Air & Mobile Services as a Paramedic, they must have an additional 4000 hours critical care experience as an RN in an ICU or an emergency department to be eligible to reapply to the program as an RN. This is in lieu of the above required 3 years' experience. o Must be able to multitask with constant interruptions while maintaining a pleasant demeanor
