Position Summary:

The Assistant Branch Manager assists in supervising and coordinating all branch operations, in conformance with established bank policies and procedures.

Float Assistant Branch Managers will be expected to provide coverage across branches within one or more of the following regional areas: 

• Greater Easton (Easton, Mansfield, Norton)
• Greater Brockton (Brockton, Whitman, Hanson)
• Greater Middleboro & Plymouth (Middleboro, Halifax, Plymouth, Carver)

Travel is based on business needs and branch scheduling. Reliable transportation is required.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Management of branch in the absence of the Branch Manager.
• Daily balancing/settlement of cash drawer.
• Assist in the settlement of ATM; coin machine and night depository.
• Assists in the bank’s daily opening/closing/settlement of branch.
• Conducts monthly audits as stated in S.O.P.’s of North Easton Savings Bank.
• Assists in the opening and cross selling of products/services offered by the Bank.
• Initiates and refers internal/external sales.
• Originate consumer and mortgage applications.
• Assists in the completion and monitoring of the weekly employee schedule.
• Assists in the performance and disciplinary reviews of branch personnel.
• Reviews and maintains pertinent reports specific to branch needs.
• Attends regularly scheduled meetings.
• Participates in Saturday rotations.
• Other duties assigned or required.

Knowledge, Skills & Work Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent banking experience.
• Minimum of (2) two years branch or banking experience.
• NMLS certified.
• Strong communications, interpersonal and sales skills.
• Notary 

The pay range for this position is based on the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe to pay for this position at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more than the posted range and the range may be modified in the future. An individual’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, sales or revenue-based metrics, business or organizational needs, affordability and market pay.

Physical Demands:

This position is an office-based position in terms of physical demand. Employees are expected to be able to operate their fingers and hands to perform functions such as typing, writing, and filing. Employees must also be able to move throughout the office with ease while also being able to sit for extended periods of time. Employees must be able to see and hear in an office setting that does include much noise going on around one’s workspace. While this job is mainly clerical, there are instances in which employees must be able to transport up to 20 pounds.
