Float Certified/Registered Medical Assistant

Wood Health Company, a subsidiary of Wood County Hospital, is seeking a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant Float. Among other things, the selected individual will assist with general patient care, administration of injections, patient education, and related clerical duties including prior authorizations.
 

Job Duties:

• Prepping patient charts
• Rooming patients, taking vitals, and updating patient records in electronic medical records
• Assist physician or provider with patient assessment, examinations and treatments.
• Follow up on patient care after testing and/or hospitalization

Shift Details:

Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week

Shift:  8:00 am to 8:00 pm

Location: offices in Perrysburg, Bowling Green, North Baltimore and Deshler
 

Minimum Requirements:

Required Certification:         

• Registered Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant

Preferred Experience:          

• Prior medical office experience preferred
