Float PRN Medical Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the care and treatment of patients by taking medical histories and vital signs.
• Support healthcare providers during examinations and procedures by ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are readily available.
• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and answering phone calls.
• Document patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR) and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment plans, and post-procedure care.
• Float between various locations as needed and adapt quickly to different team dynamics and workflows.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Prior experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in a clinical or dermatology environment.
• Proficient knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail in multitasking environments.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer software.

Compensation Range: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour. Final offer will be based on a combination of skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
