Role Description – Floater Assistant Teacher (Flexible Hours):
We are currently hiring a Floater Assistant Teacher—a flexible, dependable team member who can step in where needed throughout the day. This position requires someone who enjoys variety in their workday, is available for a range of shifts, and thrives in a team-based environment. Shifts may vary between 5:00 AM and 11:30 PM, so schedule flexibility is essential.

Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous childcare experience is a plus.
Certifications:
- CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain).
- TB test and physical required (preferably completed before starting).
- Background check mandatory.
Skills & Traits:
- Flexibility with work hours and willingness to work various shifts.
- Team-oriented, reliable, and proactive.
- Patient, caring, and adaptable to working with different age groups.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and remain active throughout shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Fill in across classrooms to assist lead teachers and maintain child-to-staff ratios.
- Support children with daily routines including meals, toileting, activities, and naps.
- Help implement age-appropriate games, crafts, and educational activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning environment.
- Encourage positive behavior and social skills through active engagement.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and provide updates to parents when needed.
- Comply with all safety protocols, health policies, and training requirements.
