Floater Chop Saw

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for working and executing various tasks in the department


• Supervisor or Lead will assign work duties for the day


• Follows safety guidelines and work process procedures.


• Interprets paperwork, build tickets, product labels, etc. (as needed)


• Learns the product depending on assigned job - (Door styles, Face Frames, Moldings, cabinet parts, etc.) while leaning on knowledge of various wood types: Maple, Hickory, Cherry, Oak, MDF, Particleboard, etc.


• Operate all assigned equipment in all areas


• Temporarily covers positions, and typically pick up shifts as needed

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Must be proficient in reading a tape measure.


• Knowledge of all jobs in the work area.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


• Must be a self-starter who works well under pressure and can follow a list of daily work assignments.


• Possesses a willingness to learn new ways to enhance productivity.


• Must be team oriented, interactive, and possess strong communication skills.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma, GED, or 1yr of equivalent experience.


• Demonstrated skills in planning, prioritizing and time management.


• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and timely completion of tasks.


• Organization and planning
