We are currently looking for a mechanically inclined individual to join our Components Department as a Floater—a hands-on role with variety and opportunity to grow.

Position Summary:
As a Floater in the Components Department, you'll support various workstations based on daily production needs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, learning new machines and processes, and staying active throughout the day. Your mechanical aptitude will be essential in assisting with equipment setup, troubleshooting minor issues, and ensuring quality output.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Float between multiple workstations within the Components Department as needed.
   
• Assist with machine setup, basic maintenance, and operation (e.g., boring, dowel insertion, edge banding).
   
• Perform quality checks and minor adjustments to maintain product standards.
   
• Read work orders and follow job instructions accurately.
   
• Help with troubleshooting mechanical issues and notifying maintenance when needed.
   
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
   
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
   

Qualifications:

• Must be mechanically inclined with a good understanding of tools, machines, and basic troubleshooting.
   
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or woodworking environment is a plus.
   
• Ability to read a tape measure and interpret basic production paperwork.
   
• Willingness to learn and adapt to different roles throughout the department.
   
• Dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
   
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for the entire shift.
