Floating Grounds/Maintenance Technician III

GSF Properties Inc. is looking for a Floating Maintenance Technician III in Reedley and Kingsburg, CA, join a dynamic property management team!

**This position does require 3 years of current and proven apartment maintenance experience and must be able to float to 2 different properties in Reedley and Kingsburg with a total of 107 units. Again, must have 3 years of current and proven multi-family apartment maintenance experience to be considered**

Qualifications / Skills for Maintenance Technician:

• Good communication skills
• Computer literate (outlook/property management software)
• Ability to positively interact with the general public, tenants, vendors, and corporate staff

• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines

Responsibilities of Maintenance Technician:

• Maintain good public relations with residents and vendors
• Assist with annual apartment inspections and identifying action items
• Report violations of lease and house rules
• Timely completion of maintenance request, work orders and ensure tenant’s maintenance needs are being met
• Work with manager to schedule vendors and order necessary supplies
• Perform preventative maintenance duties
• Maintaining excellent curb appeal
• Follow policies and procedures
• Grounds

Requirements

Job Requirements for Floating Maintenance Technician/Grounds:

• Minimum of 3 year of current and proven experience in multi-family apartment maintenance
• Basic knowledge and experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, minor fixes such as patching a wall, fixing a doorknob, appliance repair, unit turnovers, and work orders.
• Basic familiarity with use of computers and technology. Navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.
• Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
• Able to work at property in Reedley and property in Kingsburg
• Ability to work independently and work well as a team
• Able to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (40 hours per week)
