Floating Leasing Agent

Position Summary

The Floating Leasing Agent plays a vital role in supporting leasing efforts across multiple apartment communities. This position is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, achieving leasing goals, and ensuring a consistent and professional presence at each assigned property. The ideal candidate is adaptable, self-motivated, and excels in fast-paced environments.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Leasing & Marketing

• Greet, tour, and assist prospective residents at various communities.
• Accurately complete lease applications, agreements, and related paperwork.
• Follow up prospects and maintain lead tracking in the CRM.
• Assist with renewal offers and lease execution when needed.

Customer Service & Resident Relations

• Provide welcoming and professional experience for all residents and visitors.
• Promptly address resident inquiries and concerns in a courteous manner.
• Support community activities and resident events as assigned.

Administrative Support

• Maintain organized leasing files in accordance with company policy and Fair Housing guidelines.
• Ensure models, tour paths, and common areas are clean and ready for showings.
• Complete leasing reports and communicate activity to on-site leadership.

Team & Community Support

• Travel to multiple properties to provide coverage during vacancies, vacations, or high-traffic periods.
• Quickly adapt to community-specific procedures, software, and team dynamics.
• Support the Community Manager and team with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of leasing or customer service experience; multifamily housing experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software (e.g., Yardi, CRM platforms).

Work Schedule

• Full-time schedule will vary based on community needs, including weekends.
• Travel between multiple communities is required on a regular basis.
