At APEX, a Diverzify company, we believe our associates are at the heart of our organization. As a Floor Care Technician, you will work with a team of maintenance staff to take care of different types of floors for our clients, such as wood, vinyl, linoleum, tile, and carpet. You will make sure the floors are clean using various methods, such as dusting, mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, and bonneting. You should also be able to work on both large and small projects in commercial and industrial settings. 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Perform all duties as related to floor maintenance and the scope of work required. 
• Perform specific jobs and tasks as directed by Crew Leader, Night Supervisor or Operations Manager. 
• Responsible for ensuring jobs are completed to the customer and company's expectations. 
• Properly maintain assigned equipment (i.e. phones, vacuums, etc.) 
• Work directly with the Crew Leader, Night Supervisor and Operations Manager in quality assurance and notify them of any work-related problems. 
• Attend and participate in all required Maintenance Team meetings. 
• Clean equipment daily. Keep the equipment neat and orderly at all times. 
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures. 
• Assume other responsibilities from time to time as directed by management. 
• Participate in firm’s growth as a cooperative and loyal member of the team. 

Job Requirements:  

• Valid driver's license, and good driving record preferred 
• Must be of legal age to work 
• This position requires full vaccination against COVID-19 as a condition of employment, subject to a valid medical or religious exemption. 
• High energy, results oriented, takes initiative. 
• Able to lift 50 lbs. 
• Able to work flexible hours unsupervised. 
• Honest, dependable and team oriented 
• Able to demonstrate superior knowledge, skills and processes of our flooring maintenance system to your team and customers. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Bi-Lingual Preferred
