Floor Care Technician (2nd Shift)

 Hours of Job

• Full Time - 2nd Shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm)


• Every other weekend and rotating holiday schedule

Duties and Key Responsibilities

• Floor Care Performs under the supervision of the Coordinator and/or Unit Leader. Floor Care is responsible for performing floor care duties throughout the facility, assuring the proper disposal of both solid and infectious waste, and performing Environmental Services Technician duties as needed.


• Orders cleaning supplies, paper products, and plastic liners as needed per assigned work area.


• Maintains floor care equipment per manufacturer’s recommendations.


• Performs all other duties assigned to ensure the department meets its responsibilities to the patient, customer, and Hospital Mission

Requirements

• D.O.T.  Requirements


• Requires full range of body motion including manual and finger dexterity, eye-hand coordination, standing and walking for extended periods of time.


• Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Education/Certifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience

• Previous floor care experience in health care Housekeeping preferred.
