Floor Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Floor Manager to lead our dynamic team and ensure exceptional service across our restaurant operations. As a pivotal leader on the floor, you will oversee daily restaurant activities, manage staff, uphold food safety standards, and deliver memorable customer experiences. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow during all shifts. 
• Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to foster a motivated and efficient team. 
• Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring quality standards are met consistently. 
• Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. 
• Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste. 
• Enforce food safety protocols and health regulations to guarantee a safe dining environment. 
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure high levels of guest satisfaction. 
• Conduct staff interviews, participate in hiring decisions, and support onboarding processes. 
• Manage shift operations including supervising food production, kitchen management, and catering services when applicable. 
• Oversee food handling procedures in compliance with safety standards across all food service areas. 
• Assist with budgeting responsibilities, including cost control and resource allocation. 
• Coordinate with kitchen staff on food quality, presentation, and timely delivery during busy periods such as banquets or special events. 
• Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service while fostering a positive team environment. 

Experience

• Proven management experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting, ideally within casual dining or quick service environments. 
• Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary practices, and food industry standards. 
• Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales processing and reporting. 
• Strong background in inventory control, food safety compliance, and cash handling procedures. 
• Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising teams, conducting training sessions, and managing staff performance. 
• Experience with shift management in both casual dining and fine dining contexts is highly desirable. 
• Familiarity with hotel or banquet service operations adds value to your application. 
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interview candidates effectively and support staff development initiatives. 
• Knowledge of budgeting principles within a hospitality environment to optimize operational efficiency.
