The Floor Supervisor provides hands-on leadership for daily manufacturing operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant production of quality products. This role oversees production employees, coordinates resources, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and drives performance to meet safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives. The Floor Supervisor serves as a key link between production teams and cross-functional departments, fostering a culture of accountability, communication, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop production team members while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Supervise daily manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved.
- Drive compliance with all safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements; lead incident response, corrective actions, and safe work practices.
- Plan and coordinate staffing, scheduling, work assignments, and resource allocation to support operational requirements.
- Monitor production performance, workforce utilization, and key operational metrics; identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Direct production activities including line operations, changeovers, production trials, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
- Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Safety, IT, and Talent Experience to resolve issues and support business objectives.
- Provide leadership in employee training, onboarding, performance management, attendance management, and career development.
- Investigate operational, safety, and quality concerns and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve performance.
- Ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards through process monitoring, audits, and team accountability.
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, timekeeping, inventory, and operational documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, reliability, and employee engagement.
- Participate in hiring, promotions, workforce planning, disciplinary decisions, and other employee lifecycle activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities
Qualifications
Education
Associate degree or technical training preferred.
Experience
- Manufacturing, production, or operations leadership experience required.
- Experience leading or coordinating the work of others in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with safety, quality, and continuous improvement programs preferred.

Compensation range – $67,846.08 - $89,830.55
