The Floor Team Manager is the champion of the Museum floor experience, leading an incredible team of Museum Associates who help bring the wonder and joy of childhood to life every day. Part coach, part problem-solver and part cheerleader, this role ensures that every Museum Associate has the support, training and encouragement they need to create extraordinary experiences for children and families.
The Floor Team Manager is a proactive and strategic thinker who builds a culture where play, belonging, curiosity and exceptional guest service thrive. From recruiting and developing staff to coordinating schedules and facilitating training, this role helps ensure the Museum is staffed, supported and ready for adventure. Whether coaching a team member, leading a post-shift huddle, identifying and helping to solve challenges, or jumping into play alongside teammates, the Floor Team Manager helps create an environment where children can learn through play and staff can do their best work.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Operations and Engagement, the Floor Team Manager serves as a key leader on the Museum floor, fostering a collaborative team culture and ensuring that every day at the Museum is welcoming, playful and memorable.
Compensation: $64,200-$68,658 annually
Position Specifications: Full-time, exempt, Tuesday- Saturday required. Additional hours as needed to meet business needs for occasional weekends, evenings, holidays and events.

Working Conditions:
This position operates in both an indoor and outdoor environment where variable temperatures, light levels, crowds are moderate to very noisy sound levels are common.
