Floor Technician - Woodland Nursing Center - Days - PRN

The Floor Technician performs daily floor care, cleaning, buffing and refinishing floors, cleaning carpets, shower rooms, and performing housekeeping duties as assigned.

• Maintains the cleanliness, sanitary conditions, and appearance of designated floor areas
  
  
  
  • Responsible for cleaning and maintaining carpet and hard surface floors
  
  
  • Performs stripping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing, sealing, and spot cleaning of hard surface flooring
  
  
  • Shampoos, extracts, and spots carpeted floor surfaces
  
  
  • Responsible for the proper use, care, maintenance and storage of environmental services equipment, tools, and materials according to protocol
  
  
  • Report requests for repairs to supervisor or maintenance
  
  


• Participates as a member of the team to achieve business goals, quality outcomes, and customer satisfaction
  
  
  
  • Provides assistance to team members as requested or required
  
  
  • Regular and timely attendance is required for this job
  
  
  • Participates on committees/councils and performance improvement activities as requested/required
