Flooring and Countertop Estimator

We are seeking a results-oriented Flooring and Cabinet Estimator to join our New Construction Team. The Flooring Estimator will be responsible for providing detailed drawings and material quotes for the sales and design team. A successful candidate will be a self-starter, with the ability to adjust to a wide range of client needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Complete onsite estimating of new construction properties using measure and 2020 software
• Field measure job sites to get accurate measurements for estimating
• Provide detailed drawings and material quotes to sales staff and customers
• Manage changes to drawings and materials per sales and design team
• Build effective relationships with customers and internal employees

• Basic construction knowledge
• Strong understanding and ability to complete math equations accurately
• Aptitude to read/interpret architectural blueprints and specifications and do blueprint takeoffs
• Capability to manage multiple tasks while meeting quality specifications and deadlines
• Demonstrate high attention to detail, solid organizational, and effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently, as well as a part of the team
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience estimating flooring and cabinet jobs
• Knowledge of flooring products, systems, and installations
• Full understanding of the new home construction project process
• Estimating experience
• Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Knowledge of software such as Measure, RFMS, 2020
