Flusher Technician

Job Title: Flushing Technician
Pay: $18–$22/hr (DOE)
Location: Tulsa, OK
Shift: Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Occasional overtime/weekends as needed)

Position Summary

The Flushing Technician plays a key role in preparing heat exchanger units for final delivery. This position is responsible for cleaning and flushing units to remove contaminants, changing filters, and ensuring all quality and cleanliness standards are met. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and a meticulous approach to work.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform fluid flushing and cleaning operations on heat exchangers and internal piping systems
• Set up and operate pumps, hoses, and filtration systems to circulate cleaning fluids through components
• Monitor fluid clarity and pressure during the flushing process and document results
• Replace filters as needed to maintain effective filtration throughout the cycle
• Conduct pressure tests to identify leaks or contamination
• Follow detailed flushing procedures and meet all cleanliness standards
• Complete inspection reports and job-related documentation with accuracy
• Handle and dispose of fluids and filters in compliance with environmental and safety regulations
• Collaborate with assembly, quality, and engineering teams to coordinate workflow
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform routine equipment checks
• Adhere to all safety procedures and wear required PPE

Qualifications

• Prior experience in mechanical assembly, flushing, or industrial cleaning preferred
• Working knowledge of pumps, valves, hoses, and filtration systems
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, diagrams, and documentation
• Comfortable working with fluids and performing filter changes
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes
• Must pass a drug screen and background check
