Description

Ride Maintenance Technician is responsible for scheduled preventative and routine maintenance tasks. Will need to complete work assignments, new installation work, repairs and troubleshoots issues that arise during ride operations and off hours. Works to prevent component failures that would cause downtime. 



Responsibilities
  • Ability to understand and work from Maintenance and Operational Manuals
  • Ability to understand and work from electrical, electronic, and control schematics 
  • Ability to understand and work on limit and proximity sensors and switches
  • Ability to understand and work on electrical motors used for the Gear Retrieval System (GTS) 
  • Ability to understand and work on Ride Operators Control Consoles, Allen-Bradley manual push button assemblies, and wiring harnesses 
  • Ability to understand and work on PLC’s and their supporting I/O controller cards 
  • Ability to understand and work with Programmable Ladder Logic 
  • Ability to understand and work from panel view displays to determine problems and errors 
  • Ability to understand and work E-Stop and Reset automatic controls procedures
  • Ability to perform required daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual maintenance and inspections and complete associated reports 
  • Ability to complete morning maintenance and verify that the ride is ready and safe to turn over to operations 
  • Ability to perform physical maintenance to the zip line cable, tightening tensioners, and other hardware 
  • Ability to inspect and repair zip line trolleys and harnesses 
  • Ability to perform general maintenance tasks, i.e. painting, lighting repairs, bulb replacement, etc. 
  • Ability to understand and work with hand and power tools 
  • Ability to understand and work with electrical meters and soldering equipment
  • Welding, boom-lift, forklift experience a plus 


Qualifications
  • Must have excellent communication skills 
  • Must be able to work with excel and word documents 
  • Must be able to communicate in English and over two-way radios clearly 
  • Must be able to follow instructions and directions, with the ability to work with little or no supervision 
  • Must have knowledge of Ride Operations and required ride equipment 
  • Must be willing to work any required shift when needed 
  • Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time 
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms 
  • Must be able to work outdoors in extreme heat and cold environments 
  • May be required to wear a safety harness 
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. 

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work outdoors in extreme heat and cold environment for long periods of time 
  • Must be able to lift 15lbs. weight overhead to a height of 6’8” and exhibit upper arm strength. 
  • Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, and stoop 
  • Must be able to work in a loud noise environment 
  • Must be able to rescue guest off the line. 
  • Candidates must meet weight requirements between 60 lbs. and 300 lbs. 
  • Must dress professionally and/or wear uniform as designated by Caesars Employee Handbook
