Job Description - FM NP/PA - California

Provider Profession Needed:	FNP
Specialty:	Family Medicine
Start Date:	June 15
End Date:	3 months
Length of Assignment:	3 months plus extension
Credentialing Timeframe:	2-3 weeks
Work Schedule:	Monday â Friday: 8:00 AM â 5:00 PM
Patient Volume:	26 patients scheduled per day 18â20 patients seen on average per day Note: FQHCs typically schedule a higher number of patients to account for frequent no-shows, which is common in these settings.
Procedures:	Family Medicine Primary Care Preventive Health Immunizations Wellness Checks Chronic Disease Management Medication Management The locum provider will be covering for a permanent provider who sees all ages and bread/ butter primary care.
EMR:	Has transitioned to EPIC EMR
License Needed:	CA
Certifications Needed:	BC
Relevant Experience/Skill Set Needed:	FQHC experience and EPIC EMR
Other additional pertinent information:	Client requires a 5-day work week for this position. The schedule is not flexible. Overtime: Please note that overtime will not be paid unless pre-approved by both the clinic and the scheduling team. Providers will not be compensated for hours worked beyond 40/week without prior authorization.
