Job Highlights: Serves as the primary point of contact for managers, employees, HR, and payroll throughout the leave management process. Collaborate with managers, corporate HR & the 3rd party leave vendors to ensure the Leave of Absence process, policies and procedures are being administered in a consistent manner Provides consultation to employees and managers on policies and compliance regarding leave of absence matters, and compliance with all related policies, employment and leave laws. Coordinates FMLA with other forms of leave including Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, and PTO. Ensuring payroll is entered accordingly Communicates with employees on leave to regarding their status to ensure a successful return to work. Support team members and other key stakeholders such as Operations and HR in resolving questions, issues and escalations regarding leaves of absence Provide current and accurate information according to FMLA and state mandated regulations to the organization Respond to emails and phone calls offering consistent and accurate information as it relates of Leave of Absence, according to federal, state and company policies and procedures Assist team members with general questions and/or guide them to appropriate resources within the organization Job Summary: Assists with the day-to-day administration of the employee benefit programs such as life insurance, health care coverage, disability, retirement and other related programs.
May specialize in one area within employee benefits.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Recommends changes to benefits based on feedback received from employees and other data. Coordinates the delivery of benefits and fund transfers with benefit vendors. Supports the HR Business Partners with communication and other administrative support for benefit programs. Participates in the development of employee benefits policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience or education
EXPERIENCE No experience required PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements. Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors. Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc. Frequent keyboard use/data entry. Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping. Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs. Rare climbing.
