THE ROLE:
The FMS Coordinator provides administrative and coordination support for the Financial Management Services (FMS) program, serving as a key liaison between Regional Centers, consumers, vendors, and internal accounting teams. This role supports enrollment, billing accuracy, and vendor reimbursements while ensuring timely, compliant, and well-documented processing that supports a positive experience for all program participants.
Primary Responsibilities
Coordinate enrollment and onboarding for new FMS consumers and vendors referred by Regional Center partners
Collect, review, and process high volumes of vendor reimbursement logs accurately and within required deadlines
Serve as a primary point of contact for vendor payment questions and reimbursement inquiries
Track reimbursement issues, communicate required corrections, and follow through to resolution
Partner with Regional Centers to address expiring authorizations and billing discrepancies
Collaborate with branch teams and Accounting to investigate and resolve escalated billing or payment issues
Maintain accurate documentation and records to support compliance and audit readiness
This is a hybrid position, coming into the El Segundo office 1x per month.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in customer service, administrative support, billing, or a related role
Experience working with high-volume data, documentation, or financial records preferred
Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting accuracy and timeliness expectations
Demonstrated discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information
Skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data-entry systems
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
Problem-solving mindset with strong follow-through
Time management skills in deadline-driven environments
