JOB TITLE: Restaurant Host / Busser

DIVISION: Food and Beverage

REPORTS TO: Restaurant Manager

LOCATION: St. Bernard’s

CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time / Part-Time / Seasonal / Hourly

POSITION:

Solitude’s restaurants, the way to people’s hearts, have an opening for a few dedicated employees! This is a great opportunity for an individual to join our wonderful and successful food and beverage team. This support position will be responsible for ensuring that the restaurant dining room is clean and presentable for dining guests. Tables are to be bussed, cleaned, and sanitized in a quick, quiet, and efficient manner. This position will be responsible for expo. and room service orders and deliveries. This will be a wage plus tips position. Cross training and opportunities for advancement will be provided and encouraged! PM shifts from Friday to Wednesday available.

SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Positive attitude and a strong work ethic are a must

· Capable of standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 40lbs.

· Willing to work flexible work schedules that may include holidays and weekends

· High school diploma or equivalent - preferred

· Demonstrate knowledge of customer service to execute Solitude’s standards

· Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to obtain and maintain current, valid state-required licenses and or certifications such as Food Handler’s Permit and Utah Alcohol Training.

· Desire to learn and train about food, wine and customer service

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Greeting and seating guests and communication with servers.

· Positive communication with guests using phone, Open Table, and in person.

· Maintain cleanliness in the dining room, including bussing and cleaning tables, windows, and floors.

· Responsible for trash and recycling removal and disposal.

· Provide guest service while bussing tables to include answering guest questions for mountain information, directions, restaurant information, etc.

· Responsible for taking orders and delivering room service, using stairs and tray service.

· Support restaurant staff with any other task that is needed to be done.
